On your mark, Get Set...

God blessed us with a beautiful, if hot day for the 12th Annual Trail Race.  There were more runners than ever before, which translates into more funds for the shelters we support:  Meeting Ground, Settlement House, Newark Welfare Committee and Friendship House.

 

There were 34 volunteers from Head of Christiana throughout the park as well as volunteers from the UD Campus Ministry, Men’s Shelter, Meeting Ground, Newark Welfare Committee and “Trail Dawgs.”  It was truly a Christian undertaking with understanding and respect for each person helping and for those whom we serve. 

 

We accommodated approximately 600 people with an intake of about $20,000.  Thank you to all who gave a stellar performance on race day!
