Presbyterians believe our primary purpose is to worship God and delight in God. We gather each Sunday morning to praise God through declaration of God’s word, music, and sacraments. Services are led by the pastor, assisted by members of the congregation.
The members of Head of Christiana welcome you and invite you to come worship with us in our historic sanctuary embellished with warm colors and beautiful stained glass windows. Worship begins at 11:00 from September to mid June, and at 10:00 during the summer. Nursery care is provided for infants and preschool children.
Special services enrich our worship during the Christmas and Easter seasons. We would delight in welcoming you to any of our worship events! |

Praising God through music is integral to worship at Head of Christiana. Choral anthems, congregational hymn singing, organ preludes and meditations, and small vocal and instrumental ensembles enrich and enliven our worship every Sunday. In addition, special musical events such as the annual Christmas concert allow us to grow musically and to share God’s gift of music with many people. |
