Our Youth Group for middle school and high school students enjoys getting together for special activities that include opportunities for recreation, service, and worship. Friends of the church youth are always welcome to join us! |

Opportunities for connecting with other people and making new friends are important in the life of our church. Coffee hours and potluck suppers occur frequently -- check the calendar for dates -- or join in one of our small group fellowship programs. In the summer come and join us for lemonade and ice cream on the church lawn! |

Women’s Circle of the Presbyterian Women’s Assoc.
Women in the church enjoy meeting in "circles", small groups that come together for fellowship and learning. The HOC Women's Circle meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September - May for bible study and socializing. The Women's Circle also supports a variety of local and denominational mission projects.
Please consider taking one night a month to meet with us. You will be welcomed!
Women’s Book Club
The HOC women's book club reads a variety of fiction and non-fiction, and meets monthly at members' homes--normally weekday evenings or Saturday daytimes. The gathering is informal, and members take joint responsibility for generating discussion of the book. Members also often recommend other works they have read. A sampling of titles from the last three years includes Riding the Bus with my Sister (R. Simon), Boys of Summer (R. Kahn), To Kill a Mockingbird (H. Lee), What Was She Thinking (Z. Heller), The Kite Runner (K. Hosseini), Housekeeping (M. Robinson), In Search of History: A Personal Adventure (T. White), Confederacy of Dunces (J. Toole), A Child's Christmas in Wales (D. Thomas), and Age of Innocence (E. Wharton). Come read with us! |
